My thesis collection was called “In the world of drizzling birds” I was inspired by the imaginary transformation of a woman into a bird. It tells a delicate and fragile story about the process of change where some elements remain the same while the others are being transformed. It was a lesson of pattern making and a texture workshop. Here are some photos. Thank you TUGAS for you help!
Bruum Knits is a knitwear project that we’re constantly working on with my friend Paula. We design and knit accessories (for now) and also in the future sweaters and other bigger pieces. All is knitted in a very good quality wool, and of course, by us. Check our website and facebook profile to know more!
‘Florida’ is a project I made for a competition organized by Polaroid Sunglasses. We were supposed to choose a decade as an inspiration. At that time I was making a lot of general research and I saw this poster from the 50s announcing holidays in Florida for all the family. It became my inspiration instantly. I wanted to transmit the atmosphere of joy, relax and easiness by the usage of colour and curved shape without forgetting about the 50s fashion.
Kwadratury was one of the projects I made at IED. I worked on the aspect of structures, the idea was to transmit the geometry found in nature on the garments. It was our very first ‘collection project’. We designed 10 looks and made a photoshooting of one. Take a look at the results inside the post.
